Ignite Calvert 2025 Summer Camps

Calvert County Public Schools invites rising 1st through 8th grade students to participate in IGNITE Calvert 2025 Summer Camp—a half-day program designed to engage learners in hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities that promote teamwork, exploration, affinity, and motivation.

Camp Options:

• Huntingtown Elementary: June 23–26
• Mutual Elementary: July 7–10
• Southern Middle: July 28–August 1

Camp sessions run from 8:00/8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and include exciting learning experiences, service-learning opportunities with local organizations, and field trips to the National Children’s Museum or the National Building Museum. (Chaperones are welcome.)

With only 30 to 35 slots available per week, early registration is highly encouraged.

The camp is sponsored by the Office of Gifted, Advanced Learning, and STEM at CCPS.
